2. SPAMMERS are not allowed. There are penalties for this kind of user and they can be banned forever.

3. You can report other users, if you judge necessary. An user reported many times by many people can also be banned forever. However you can also receive penalties for report deliberately for no apparent reason.

Hi everybody,

i want to display a model composed of many .obj files, and i would like to normalize all the meshes so that they fit into the screen but keeping the correct proportions.

Do you know how i could do that?

Since i don't know the actual size of the model i cannot scale the meshes by a certain factor.

Hey man,

Well, in this case you can put everything inside a NGLGroup3D and rescale the entire group.
Just remember that changes on NGLGroup3D doesn't affect its children at all.

Hey, thanks for the answer. What if i don't know the size of the models in advance, since i load them dynamically? Are you aware of a method to make a group fit in the screen (in the same way as the normalization works for a single mesh)?
thanks again!

Well, this is something that will come with the multiple importing feature. But for now you can use the bounding box information to calculate the final size of your mesh group.

We still working on the bounding box feature and groups as well.

Right, bounding boxes should do the trick. I just don't get how to initialize them..volume and bounds always return zero. How should i fill them? Am i doing something wrong?

Yep, the bounding box for now is zero on NGLGroup3D. However it should and will have this information filled automatically.

For now, what you can do is to get the bounding box of each NGLMesh individually and make the sum by your own.
